Chester Family Film Festival With Host Jim Breuer
Check out our First Annual Chester Family Film Festival with Host Jim Breuer! It's going to be awesome! Now accepting video submissions. Maybe you are a budding filmmaker or you just have a funny home video you need to share with the world. It can be comedy, drama, mystery, and documentary. The film festival is open to all Chester Residents, keep YOUR VIDEOS FAMILY FRIENDLY and no longer than 3 minutes running time. The CFFF will be held JUNE 30, 2012, rain date July 1st. Chester Lioness Club Food Drive To Benefit Chester Food Pantry
The Chester Lioness Club will host a food drive to benefit the Chester Food Pantry. Collected items including frozen lasagna, turkeys and hams will be used to fill food baskets for needy families in our area celebrating Easter & Passover. Chester Shoprite will collect customers' receipts when the purchase amount necessary to obtain a free turkey or other item has been reached. The food pantry will obtain the items directly from Shoprite. If you would like to donate a turkey, ham, lasagna or chicken, contact Holly Simmerroth at (908) 879-5932


Help Our Seniors and Disabled Adults
MASH needs you! April is our membership and fundraising drive month. An annual MASH membership is just $10 a year. Any additional tax-deductible contributions enable us to provide services our residents really value. Mendham Area Senior Housing (MASH) provides housing to seniors and disabled adults right here in Mendham Borough. We have 40 one- bedroom apartments for income eligible applicants.  MASH provides transportation services to our residents as well as to any senior or disabled adult in Mendham Borough and Mendham Township. We take our riders to medical appointments, grocery stores, and senior clubs every weekday.  We have weekly exercise and yoga classes, BINGO, movie afternoons, and monthly birthday parties. Our staff is here for assistance and support Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 3:00pm. Visit our website to learn more. The Women's Association is pleased to announced its 16th Mansion in May Designer Show house and Gardens at Glynallyn in 2012. WAMMC is also excited and grateful to announce that MetLife will be a major corporate sponsor for the fourth consecutive time. Proceeds will be directed towards the new Inpatient Hospice and Palliative Care Center at Morristown Medical Center. Mansion in May is WAMMC's signature fundraiser and our most profitable event having generated over $6 million for Morristown Medical Center since its inception in 1974. www.mansioninmay.org

April 14/15 – 31st Annual Spring Antiques Show & Sale Hosted by Mendham Rotary Club – Sat 10 to 5, Sun 11 to 4.  West Morris Mendham High School. Proceeds to benefit High school scholarships and other Rotary sponsored charity work.

April 21 – Celebrate community-based conservation – Schiff Natural Lands Trust Fundraiser. 6:00pm to 9:00pm - Hosted at the beautiful Tranquility Farm in Chester, this fun-filled evening will feature live music, traditional hors d'oeuvres, casual contemporary dinner, full open bar, and delicious desserts. The event will also feature fantastic items and experiences for auction, and all proceeds will support Schiff's conservation and educational initiatives in our community. Tickets will be on sale for $100, and will be available in the coming weeks online or at the Nature Center

April 22 –15th Annual Miles For Matheny – 9:00am – Liberty Park in Peapack. This fun-packed day brings together our patients, students, family, friends, and the community as we enjoy a day of cycling, running, walking, and camaraderie. All proceeds from Miles for Matheny will benefit Matheny’s Center of Medicine and Dentistry, which provides specialized inpatient medical, dental, and therapy care to our inpatients and people with disabilities living in communities throughout New Jersey. April 28 – 11:00am – 4:00pm – Lewis Morris Park Green Weekends in Morris County:"Our Green World," Earth Day.  Indulge in a day of live animal shows, great food, lively music, games and crafts, and fun for the entire family! Featuring nearly 100 booths providing interactive handson activities, guided nature walks, and demonstrations on everything from solar power, to electric cars, to useful recycled products. Win a fabulous door prize!  Cost: $3 for adults, $2 for children 12 and under, children under 2 free

April 29 – 12noon to 4:00pm – Fosterfields Living Historical Farm -Green Weekends in Morris County:"Our Green World," Sustainable Life on the Farm -Discover how farmers in the early 20th century used sustainable farming methods. Enjoy a horse-drawn wagon ride around the farm and learn how garden vegetables, crops, and livestock were raised a century ago. Get down and dirty, and help plant varieties of heirloom potatoes grown by the Fosters and their farmers in the 1920s. Area Egg Hunts

Saturday March 31

10:30am – 1:00 pm Egg Hunt To support the Animals of Randolph Animal Pound – Mt Freedom Golf Range, Randolph (Rain Date April 7) .
For kids from ages 1 to 99 at Mt. Freedom Golf, Randolph, NJ. 
The hunts will be separated for different ages of children. 
We will also have a separate area for young children and toddlers.
Donation $8 - Advanced Reservation $7 per person - Hot Dog Lunch included.
Our volunteers will have cats and kittens available for adoption
WDHA 105.5 - "The ROCK of New Jersey" will be here with prizes!
