Some local oil collection centers in our area are:

Route 24 & Fairview Avenue

Randolph
(973) 895-5026
Also, all Jiffy Lube stations will accept up to 10 gallons at no charge and all Bridgestone and Firestone Tire and Service Centers will accept up to 2 gallons at no charge. You must bring the used motor oil in closed containers, during business hours and take the empty containers away with you. |
Recycle your phone and help feed the hungry. Bring them with your electronics.
A Chester township resident and Black River Middle School student, Amie Swanbeck, is collecting cell phones for recycling. They can be in any condition including broken. The phones will be sent to GRC Wireless Recycling, a leader in environmentally responsible cell phone recycling. GRC will pay between $1 and $50 for each phone received, depending upon age and condition. All of these monies will be donated to the Chester Pantry and Morristown Community Soup Kitchen. Please note that your personal data will be erased from all phones at a GRC facility. However, if you wish to erase your own personal data it is a simple process commonly found on your phone's menu. Now you can help the environment and help feed the hungry!
